We want to bring together people who are interested in <em>amateur radio<\/em> and <em>radio technology<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have common resources such as repeater, premises equipped with modern HF and VHF\/UHF station and we organize activities such as radio orienteering \u2013 ARDF, field days, radio tests, study visits, lectures and other activitys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a visitor in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s and have your VHF\/UHF with you please find info about our repeaters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sk5aa.se\/?page_id=718\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A news bulletin<\/strong> (in swedish) is read over repeater SK5RHQ on 145.775 Mhz every Sunday evening at 19:00 local time. <strong>Monthly meetings<\/strong> is 2nd Thursday of each month except July and, where applicable, August. <strong>Open house<\/strong> on some Wednesdays is advertised via e-mail and eQRZ to all members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-gray-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Club Callsign: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qrz.com\/db\/SK5AA\">SK5AA<\/a><br>Number of members: Around 80.<br>Club meetings is at: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.flygmuseum.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">V\u00e4ster\u00e5s Aviation Museum<\/a>, H\u00e4ssl\u00f6gatan 16, 721 31 V\u00e4ster\u00e5s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sk5aa.se\/?page_id=221\">Contact us<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Foreign radio amateurs with a CEPT license (T\/R 61-01) can operate amateur radio in Sweden without a special permit for a stay of up to three months. Holders of other types of licenses (e.g. Novice, Intermediate or similar) are not permitted to operate in Sweden. The temporary call sign to be used is SM\/your call or SA\/your call.
